Welcome to Mississippi Public Transit Association!
I am delighted to welcome you to the Mississippi Public Transit Association. It is an exciting time for our organization as we continue to grow and adapt in changing times, remaining always motivated and responsive to the individuals and communities we serve. The transportation challenges we continue to face as a collective require that we continue to learn and address through improving the accessibility of our services in more communities. We must build and strengthen our partnerships in the present and beyond.
On behalf of our Board of Directors, we thank you for the opportunity and hope that your visit to our website provides in addressing your transportation needs and that of the State of Mississippi. To maximize the effectiveness of public transit, all of us must work together for better outcomes in meeting the transportation needs of those that need us.

This is a defining characteristic of the Mississippi Public Transit Association, and this belief is embedded in everything we do.

We represent the interests of Mississippi transit agencies and transit workers before the Mississippi State Legislature, the governor, Congress, and regulatory agencies on the local, state, and federal levels.
